Who runs this site

presentingwithconfidencecourse.com is run by the site itself, with no outside publisher behind it. Write to hello@presentingwithconfidencecourse.com about anything on this page, including a request about your data.

The course picker

When you choose a skill or a format, the shading of the table and the compass change inside your own browser. Those choices are not sent anywhere and are gone once you close the tab.

What gets counted

You never give us a name, an email address or a phone number. To see which parts of the page are useful, the site notes a handful of anonymous events: a page view, the page that sent you here, how far you scrolled in quarters, and which free lesson link you clicked and where it sat on the page. Each event carries your browser language, your operating system and a random code kept in your browser, so a second visit can be told apart from a first one. Your IP address is used only to guess a rough region and is not kept in full.

Who processes it

These events go first to this site's own server, which passes them on to an analytics provider that stores them in the European Union. We look at them to improve this page and for nothing else. They are not sold, swapped or shared with advertisers.

Storage in your browser

No cookies are set. Your browser's storage holds the random code, a visit marker that starts over after thirty idle minutes, your light or dark choice and, if you close the bottom bar, a note to keep it closed for this visit. Clearing site data in your browser removes all of it. If you block the statistics script, the page works exactly the same.

The free lesson links

Every "free first lesson" or "free test" link points to /free-lesson on this site. That address looks only at your browser's user agent. Android phones go to the Confidently app on Google Play, with the link's place on this page added as a referrer; all other devices go to the App Store. The redirect itself is not logged. Once you reach a store, the terms of Apple or Google and the app's own privacy policy take over.

Your choices

Email the address above and we will delete the events tied to your random code. Since we never know who you are, clearing this site's storage breaks that link at once.
